My background spans music education, arts management, project development, entrepreneurship and mediation. More importantly, it reflects a lasting interest in one central question: How does meaningful development happen?
Over the years, I have collaborated with learners of all ages, artists, educators and institutions. I have founded companies, developed educational programmes, published learning materials, created digital learning resources and designed innovations for string instruments.

Together with my partner, Erdmute Maria Hohage, I founded ema Musik, an initiative that develops new approaches to practising and teaching classical instruments. Unsere Arbeit verbindet pädagogische Erfahrung, künstlerische Praxis und Innovationsentwicklung. Our work combines artistic practice, educational experience and innovation. Rather than asking how we can produce more of the same, we ask: How can learning become more accessible, more inspiring and more sustainable?
